The Student Choreography Show

In October 2024, Kasey had the opportunity to choreograph for Oklahoma City University’s Student Choreography Show. Kasey’s piece, entitled Reflections, featured a young woman sifting through a memory box from her childhood. As she pulled toys out of the box, the memories of a treasure hunt came to life behind her.

Student Choreographers for On Our Way

The Student Choreography Show is put on through the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment at Oklahoma City University. In the Spring of their junior year, upcoming seniors are eligible to apply and are chosen based on three pre-requisite classes: Choreography Theory, Choreography Production, and Choreography Performance. Twelve students were chosen as choreographers and together, they created “On Our Way!” The show was directed by Alana Martin and Shadoe Brandt, and is choreographed, managed, and lit by students
