Kasey knew who she was from a very young age.
At age 4, after seeing a production of The Nutcracker, she promptly started her dancing career at Pat Brown School of Dance in Jackson, Tennessee. It was here where she learned the foundation of her dance technique and lessons of discipline and focus.
From age eleven and on, Kasey trained during the week at the studio and devoted her weekends to Ballet Arts of Jackson, a community youth ballet company in her hometown. While a company member, she had the pleasure of performing in two, full-length ballets each year. She worked her way from apprentice, to junior company member, to senior company member by her sophomore year of high school.

Although dance was Kasey’s first love, she found ways to express herself in many art forms, including musical theatre, choir, band, color guard, and voice lessons. Kasey started all of these at age eleven, and though some passions came and went, musical theatre and choir stayed true through her senior year.
Through her high school’s theatre program, Kasey got to compete in the High School Musical Theatre Awards at the Orpheum in Memphis, Tennessee. This is the precursor regional awards show to the Jimmy Awards for the West Tennessee area. Kasey was lucky enough to be nominated for Best Featured Dancer in 2019 and Lead Actress in 2021, and was asked to host the awards show in 2022. She is extremely grateful for all of these opportunities!

Since graduating high school in 2021, Kasey has had the upmost pleasure of attending the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment at Oklahoma City University. As a Dance Performance Major, she has had the opportunity to perform with the American Spirit Dance Company (dir. Jo Rowan) and the Star Dance Company (dir. Tiffany Van der Merwe.) She also serves as the Student Director for the Spirit of Grace Liturgical Dance Company. Click here for an in-depth look into her recent opportunities!
