Student Choreography Show ‘23

In October of 2023, Kasey had the opportunity to perform in the annual Student Choreography Showcase. After auditioning in August, Kasey was casted alongside Cole Dreiling in senior Allison Brueggamen’s The Birds. This piece was a spoof on Johann Strauss’ The Blue Danube Waltz in which a couple (played by Davis and Dreiling) are enjoying a nice picnic at the beach when they are attacked by seagulls for their food. After rehearsing for two months, the show was performed on the Kirkpatrick Stage at Oklahoma City University. Kasey is the most grateful for Allison’s amazing vision for this dance and was honored to help bring it to life.
